The Tire Stewardship Manitoba (TSM) Community Demonstration and Innovations Grant Program provides funding for the use of recycled tire products made from end-of-life tires in projects delivered by local governments, post-secondary and research institutions, community and youth groups, Aboriginal organizations, and First Nation communities. Subject to funding availability matching grants up to project levels of $5,000, $10,000 or $20,000 are provided to communities and non-profit organizations to use and benefit from a wide range of recycled tire products.  

Project Funding Levels

  • Up to $20,000 for Geotechnical, Road Construction, Landfill Systems, Rubber Asphalt Paving, Applied Research Projects
  • Up to $ 10,000 for Sports Field Infill Material, Playground Surface Material, Rubber Paving Material, Landscape Mulch
  • Up to $5,000 for Rubber Flooring Surface Mats
